The older we get the more memories we have, both mentally and physically.  We might forget what we had for breakfast, but we remember the important things, hanging on tighter to the most cherished memories.  Some memories are refreshed or enhanced when we view photographs or keepsakes, and the older we get, the longer we take to touch and feel the keepsakes, as if recharging the “memory bank” with fresh data.
