Meet Brody, Player of the Week, a nine year old pitcher who plays for the Royals in the 9/10 Elkhorn Slugger League. He’s a third grader at Fireridge Elementary, where math is his favorite subject. His parents are Jack and Janet.

Brody is all business when he is on the mound. He never takes his eye off the target, especially while delivering his three-finger fast ball.

Nice, high leg kick — excellent form for such a young pitcher. Brody is only 9 playing in the 9/10 year old division, so he has another year to play in this league.

Brody gives his all on every pitch.

Brody bats right and throws right. He has other interestes besides baseball, like: football, biking and archery, but says he’d like to be a pro baseball player. I’d say he has a pretty good start; he just looks like a baseball player.
