
This is another photo from the Prairie Burn I witnessed and wrote about last May; to see blog titled, “Burn, Baby, Burn” click here.
Actually, the burn took place in the morning, but I thought a night shot would look more dramatic, so I played around in Photoshop for awhile. Now, the photo has more depth to it: the glowing embers in the scorched earth in the foreground, the bright flames in the middle, and trees and night sky in the back ground. The eye is drawn through the picture from foreground to background.
Quite a bit more dramatic too, don’t you think?
