Why do men climb mountains? “Because they’re there,” is what I’ve always heard. As stupid as it sounds, that’s exactly why a party of six mentally stable males decided to climb the mountain in the picture above. I was joined by my two sons and three grand-sons (ages 5 to 67) to see what the view was like at the top.

It was very steep, but not scary or treacherous … until we got to the top. With another big mountain in the background, the top of this one sort of surprised us. My grandson, leading the “assault on the summit”, nearly stepped off the shear face on the right side of the top picture above.

After catching our breath (not for the first time by any means), we decided to call it a day … take some pictures and head home.
It was “Miller Time”.
Thought for the Day: If I’m ever on life support, unplug me. Then plug me back in … see if that works. Unknown
