Cooked Goose?

I was exploring a new subdivision in western Douglas County, NE when a severe thunderstorm rolled in.  The wind came up, the sky darkened, thunderclaps exploded in the west, and I grabbed my camera.

I got off a few shots before sheets of rain draped my car, and drove me inside.  I was lucky to get this lightning bolt.

The geese didn’t seem too concerned that all their flights had been cancelled.
