This ageless specimen can be found on the grounds of the Nelson- Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, MO. The majestic stainless steel tree stands proudly on top of a knoll overlooking the expansive grounds of the museum.
At first sight, I thought, “Wow, the perfect tree!” No crunchy nut shells on the ground, no fruit to attract messy birds, no broken or fallen branches, no helicopter-like seeds to sprout in the lawn, no pruning necessary, no water required, and no leaves to rake. Perfect! … except for one thing: No Shade.
I guess you can’t have everything.
Thought for the Day: There is nothing more dreadful than imagination without taste. Goethe
