Symmetry 2

Symmetry 2

Digital photography has opened up a whole new world of exploration and creativity. Manipulating individual pixels to manage luminance, vibrance and saturation has expanded into large-scale pixel transformation, a whole new art form.

This is an example of wholesale pixel manipulation; the original image was a photograph of geometrical structural shapes found in the glass roof of a shopping mall.  Click here to see the original image.  I took the original image, converted it to B&W, then followed a lengthy “recipe” of Photoshop tools and key strokes to arrive at “Symmetry 2”.

I’d like to meet the person who had the vision to create the recipe.

Thought for the Day:       Creativity is the residue of time wasted.                                                                                                                                          Albert Einstein
