A local watering hole with a rope tied to high branch of a nearby tree is about all you need to escape the summer heat and have fun doing it.

Who cares if it’s a 100 degrees?

Thought for the Day:   Sandy toes, sunburned nose, summer is a blast — the memories will always last.                                                                                                                Unknown

  1. This looks more like a painting than a picture. Do my eyes deceive me, or is there a secret to your art?

On the sad side, I found out this morning that Harold is in hospice care at Bergan Mercy. Such a good guy.

    1. Nothing special here, just bumped up the contrast a little. It’s one of those one in a thousand where atmospheric conditions match the camera’s maximum capabilities. As the saying goes, “Even a blind hog will find an acorn once in a while.”
