There is an old Czech Presbyterian church in southwest Saunders County, originally built in 1888 and rebuilt in 1928. Whatever, it’s an old church. A friendly and inviting church too, near as I could tell; the doors were unlocked and I helped myself to some interior photos. Very interesting, neat as a pin and obviously still an active congregation.
Around the back, across a gravel parking lot is an old swing set. Except for the plastic child seat, it looked like it was last used when the new church was dedicated. With just a wee bit imagination, I could see the kids on the new swings, playing tag, hop-scotch, etc.
Do you believe in ghosts? I don’t … or at least … I don’t think I do.
Thought for the Day: Now, about those ghosts. I’m sure they’re here and I’m not half so alarmed to meet up with any of them as I am with having to meet the live nuts I have to see everyday. Bess Truman
Very neat. I had to enlarge the screen to see the ghosts clearly but there they were!
