Wild Blue Wonder

Wild Blue Wonder

One of the things I find most fascinating in nature is patterns.

I don’t expect to find patterns in nature; i.e. not patterns in the sense of sameness or duplicity.  Sure, pine trees all have the “same” shape, the “same” color, the “same” needles, etc. but each one is unique.  Snow flakes have the same general shape, but each one is unique.  All humans have two arms, two legs, two eyes, two ears and one mouth, but each one has a unique set of fingerprints.

Clouds are known for their infinite formations.  Untold hours are spent day dreaming, looking at the clouds and seeing different shapes, forms and visions.  So, when I see a pattern in nature, like this cloud formation, I think of G-O-D … the Great Out Doors.

Thought for the Day:  When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator.                          Mahatma Gandhi
