Starbursts

Minneapolis Starburst

Rivers of concrete flow beneath the deep canyon walls of Minneapolis’ skyscrapers; shops at  street level are in dark shadows long before sunset.

Minneapolis’ IDS Tower, nearly 800′ tall, provides ever-changing reflections of nearby buildings.  In this photo, the sun is high in the sky but has already cast its shadow on a much shorter office building.  The taller building is still in full sun and reflects brightly in the skyscraper’s mirrored glass.

The starburst was created in post processing to add interest.

Thought for the DayEvery moment of light and dark is a miracle.                                                                                       Walt Whitman
