While waiting for my luggage at the Nashville airport, I met someone from the area who was very helpful about things to see and do in the area, as well as good places to eat. Her #1 restaurant was Hattie B’s, “OMG! They have the best hot chicken in the entire city”.
So, we went, Sunday, mid-afternoon. The line was out the door, taking 45 minutes just to get inside. Many people waiting had never been there, but those that had said it was “worth the wait”. My main interest for going was to see what “hot chicken” meant.
The menu was limited: fried chicken (five different “heat” levels), sides and drinks. Order from the counter, take a number, find a seat, food is delivered, wolf it down and leave. The line is still out the door.
Thought for the Day: When the line is long, please remember to shut the clucking door. Thanks y’all. sign on Hattie B’s door
