November Bonfire
It was still dark as I plodded through the kitchen to check the outside temperature. A cold front was predicted last night, and I could tell it had arrived by the ice cold tile under my bare feet.
My reliable thermometer, with digital readouts looked different to me, like it was missing something. Maybe I was still half asleep, but the stone cold floor told me I was wide awake. The thermometer’s display looked out of balance; I thought it was broken — only one digit was showing. 2! Brrr, way too early for that, not even half way through November yet.
A giant bonfire was definitely in order.
Thought for the Day: I used to work in a fire hydrant factory. You couldn’t park anywhere near the place.
