Bull Elk
Morning was almost gone on this sunny day in late May. The bull elk was laying in a bed of wild flowers enjoying the cool breeze.
This image is one frame of a video I took that day. Software is so sophisticated you can advance the video one frame at a time, so I tried it to see what kind of image I could get from a single frame. My hope was that a video “frame grab” might compensate for some movement of the subject. It’s okay, but 30 fps is not fast enough to get a sharp image of a moving target.
