Lonesome Dock

This sagging old wooden dock looked lonely. All the boats had left the sturdy concrete marina where I stood, enjoying the quiet solitude. The big puffy clouds drifted ever so slowly and the tall water grass swayed gently as if both were encouraging day dreams.

I bet that old dock can tell some good stories.

Thought for the Day: Sit in reverie and watch the changing color of the waves that break upon the idle seashore of the mind.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
