Serengeti Plain at Dusk
Night on Africa’s Serengeti Plain is total darkness. This photo was taken from the doorway of our hut on our way to dinner at the lodge two blocks away. A few lights from the lodge can be seen on the horizon just below the setting sun.
No outdoor lighting exists along the path to the lodge, but the gorgeous twilight was sufficient to find our way. The return trip would be pitch black. Luckily, after a great dinner, an armed security guard escorted us back to our hut, his powerful flashlight bouncing off several sets of eyes watching our return. Probably just “grazers” … that attract large predators.
Move along folks, nothing to see here.
Thought for the Day: Don’t let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.

We did see gazelle on our way back to the hut. I guess they are the grazers.
