Curling
Olympic trials for the U.S. Curling Team are now taking place in Omaha, NE. Results of these trials will select the team to represent the United States in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
It’s not the kind of action sport that puts you on the edge of your seat; i.e. high drama with “last minute saves” or heart-skipping endings, but it is interesting. A lot of technique is involved. The Scots had a lot of down time during their long cold winters to dream up this game in the early 1500’s.
Another first for me. YIPPEE!
